Curriculum of Aine Suzuki PDF Print E-mail

Aine Suzuki was born in Tokyo in 1984. She was twice the winner of the special prize in the "All Japan Classic Music Competition".

Aine became a pupil of H. Fujiwara since 2000 as she entered the Toho Gakuen High School of Music. She has participated in various masterclasses for violin, including T. Brandis, W. Hink, B. Belkin, P. Amoyal, J. Termergerian and A. Vamos.

She then continued her musical studies at Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, violin with L. Rasony, viola with P. Barsony, duo with M. Gulyas, L. Bihary, P. Eder and chamber music with S. Devich, K. Botvay and members of the Bartok Quartet. In 2006,

Aine won the l't prize and the Weiner Leo special prize at the violin and piano duo division at the Weiner Leo chamber Music Competition in Hungary, paired with pianist Istvan Lajko.

She has given numerous recitals and performed concertos with orchestrar based in Europe and Japan.

She recently performed Brahms's Violin Concerto with Szolnok Symphony Orchestra conducted by J. Kralik. She also attended such music festivals and master courses as Kirishima international music festival, Kusatsu international summer festival and Chigiana Music Festival.

She was a principal viola in the Pacific Music Festival in 2007 and the Collegium Musicum in Pommersfelden in 2006.

Since September 2006, she has been awarded a Lucy Ann Jones Award and continued her studies with A. Levine and J. Barritt at the Royal College of Music in London.
